Henry Harris

Henry Harris is undoubtedly the chef’s chef. At Bibendum restaurant in London Henry was sous chef to the legendary Simon Hopkinson and then went on to run the 5th Floor restaurant at Harvey Nichols before opening up Racine in Knightsbridge which became something off an institution for 15 years.

During that time it was without doubt mine & Mat's favourite restaurant and was frequented by so many of our chef friends that a visit to London wasn’t complete without a meal there. It's a place that is missed in our lives. Over that time Henry has become a dear friend and a chef we have always looked up too.  Classic Bourgeois french food of the kind Henry cooks isn’t often seen these days and we are delighted he is going to join us in the kitchen for a weekend of great food and the wonderful brandys that Henry’s late father imported to the UK from the smallest family producers. If there was one event I wouldn’t miss at The Seahorse it would be this one.
